Lehigh Hanson will permanently shut down the cement plant at its Permanente complex, located west of Cupertino, Calif., reported local media. The facility has not operated its cement kiln since April 2020, but will continue other ongoing operations, such as material distribution, as long-term strategies for the property are evaluated.
